Owner Morgan Pihl (“Mo” to friends) was born and raised in Telluride and has spent nearly his entire life working and exploring in these mountains. With more than a decade of hands-on forestry experience, he understands the unique challenges of managing high-elevation forests in San Miguel County and the surrounding area.

As an avid bowhunter and lifelong outdoorsman, Morgan brings a deep respect for the land to every project. His goal is simple: provide efficient, discreet, and high-quality forestry services that protect both property and forest health.

Through Windthrow Forestry Services, Morgan and his experienced local crew (including an ACRT Certified Arborist) serve private landowners as well as the Town of Mountain Village, Basecamp Property Management, Premier Property Management, and Telluride Management. They work hard, communicate clearly, and take pride in doing the job right the first time.
